Momo is a popular snacks or meal in Nepal. Momo is a type of steamed filled dumpling in Nepal ( probably originated in Nepal or Tibet). Momo is also getting popular in Bhutan and India now days and even Europe and American where Nepali and Tibetan community living. Momo is usually served with a sauce known as achar influenced by the spices and herbs used in Nepal and many South Asian cuisines. Momos are healthy food and generally stemmed one, but it can also be cooked as fried and soup versions known as jhol momo where the broth is made from achar using a mixture of tomatoes, sesame seeds, chillies, cumin and coriander or mokthuk from boiling pork/buffalo bones mixed with various herbs and vegetables.
In our nepali cooking class, You can prepare fresh hot momos at own kitchen then eat it. Additionally, since you are in control of how much of each ingredient you use, you can add more if you want it spicy. If you don't enjoy spicy meals just add very little or nothing!
